On her 60-acre horse farm in Wisconsin, Pamela Prince creates a warm family atmosphere, while sharing her lifelong passion about horses. Trident Farm offers breeding, training, showing and lessons, and since November 2019, a solar power system has helped keep her business running.
“When we chose solar, we were interested in the green side of things and how we could help the planet. My business partners at the farm had solar installed on their houses as well,” said Prince.
Prince researched installers in the area and found that while prices were very similar, All Energy Solar seemed to have the best service reviews and the best reputation.
All Energy installed a solar power system on the roof of Trident Farm’s 60 x 120 indoor riding arena.
“The installation was a wonderful process. Nothing interrupted the flow of business in any way,” said Prince.
Once the installation was complete, Prince noticed big energy credits through the summer. “Overall, the process was so seamless and smooth,” which she said is a bonus for a busy small business owner. “It’s been fairly easy to forget about, in a good way. Our electric bills have gone down, and I haven’t had to worry about it.”
Prince has also seen the solar project as a positive for her business. “Honestly, it’s been well received by my clients. They can see we are greener than other barns,” Prince noted. “It’s not a major selling point, but it’s an added benefit for our clientele.”
