Human Resources Manager – St. Paul, MN

All Energy Solar is seeking a full time Human Resources Manager to join our team. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this position will serve as a business partner to leaders across the company and is responsible for developing and executing the organization’s HR strategies. The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement and retention, organizational development, change management, and office management/administration. This individual will reinforce best practices and manage tactical HR operations while building trust and positive relationships with employees at all levels in the organization.  This is an excellent role for an experienced HR leader looking to manage a team, execute our HR initiatives, and support the employees of All Energy Solar.

This will be a fully on-site position at our St. Paul headquarters.


  • Lead the development, implementation,  coordination, and execution of all critical HR initiatives including payroll, benefits administration, employee performance, recruiting and retention, and administration functions for the company
  • Provide counsel, guidance, assistance, and coaching to leaders of people on performance management, change management, organizational design, team effectiveness, communication, feedback and other management best practices
  • Liaise and manage the relationship with HR vendor partners
  • Support direct reports in developing their knowledge and expertise
  • Partner with cross functional teams to maintain, improve, recommend and promote HR strategies across the organization
  • Develop and execute core HR processes and policies  (e.g. performance management, talent management, employee retention and engagement, training and development, etc.) and provide consistent and comprehensive communication of HR related policies and initiatives
  • Support company-wide strategic objectives
  • Work with leaders throughout the organization  to drive an inclusive and diverse culture
  • Create and implement a plan for professional development, training, and certification activities for all areas of the organization
  • Conduct new hire orientation and oversee the onboarding process
  • Lead recruitment function – analyze current staffing and anticipate future hiring needs, collaborate with leaders to support staffing plans, and execute recruiting and retention strategies in alignment and support of business objectives
  • Plan and prepare regular team events throughout the year including overseeing party committee 
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent HR experience.
  • 8+ years’ experience in a Human Resources role with a broad scope of responsibilities.
  • Ability to work directly with all levels of employees from entry level to senior management.
  • Superior organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Experience recruiting for roles at all levels of an organization.
  • High initiative, self-directed, and motivated
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven leader
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to make decisions
  • Strategic thinker when thinking of process improvement
  • Able to effectively manage multiple competing priorities

  • This is a full-time, exempt position
