All Energy Solar

What to Expect From Your Engineering Site Visit or ESV (Video)

The Engineering Site Visit or ESV is an important step in ensuring your solar installation fits your energy goals and your property. The ESV involves going to a property to gather information critical for creating an accurate design for a solar panel system. The technician will look at the roof condition and pitch, take drone images, collect photos of your electrical setup, collect structural information via your attic, if applicable, and more.

The most important thing a client can do for an ESV tech is to ensure the attic access, meter, and service panels are easily accessible. Lastly, secure any animals that could interfere with the technician’s evaluation.
